MMORPGDot Feature: Star Wars Galaxies - One Year Report

One year and a few days after its launch, SWG keeps on evolving. Is it going in the right direction? Moriendor takes over the reporting and tells us just what's been happening with SWG in the last year, and how the game measures up today. Read our Report to find out if you should get in the game... or stay away from it.

Good report. Im really appalled though (still) at the SWG development team. Clearly they do not know how to design an MMORPG. The DAOC team was way better, even AO team did far better in a year than this SWG team. I am somewhat disappointed and at the same time not at all surprised. (I havent boughten the game after beta and i will not likely ever buy it unless they substantially fix the many annoying bugs in SWG.) I thought that given a year, they should have most bugs under control. But SWG sounds like a huge mess, a conglomeration of good ideas under bad implementation. I bid a reversive "grats" to the SWG team for pushing content before bug fixes. It should be the other way around... Overall, thanks for letting me know that i shouldnt buy SWG just yet! (i hope EQ2 wont be like this)...
