Omega Syndrome..Can't believe I'm the only one playing it |
|
HI
I'm a big fan of the Avernum and geneforge games...i found the Omega Syndrome from a search engine about 2 months ago....i love the game..it has a fallout feel and some good sound effects and decent graphics for an independent game but i seem to be the only person playing it..
I though lovers of spiderwebs games would go nuts over this little game....anyone besides me try it?

Thanks for pointing me to this game. It is great, big FO rip off, of course. Right down to the exact Special system. But FO is great so more FO clones the merrier.
If you havent seen Prelude to Darkness, I would check that out. Great game. Know we just need to wait for Genforge 3 for windows. _________________ Vegitarian is the Indian word for lousey hunter. |

fallout was one of my all time favorites and I liked arcanum and lion heart(well not all of it just untill you have enough speech to duel it out with your demon ), any this game doesn't reach thier knee I'm sorry but after 5 min of looking at the screen my eyes began to water, and then there's the trying to figure out the interface, I don't know I just didn't like this game at all. _________________ "We're still flying"

This could be a good game, but I am stuck in the demo. After dispatching the aliens you are asked to find a sabateur (sp?). I have spoken w/ every one, w/ and w/o the damaged parts, I have watched the desk with the damaged parts until my eyes got tired and am fresh out of ideas.
I would like to continue the demo ... what do I do next? _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

I recognize that this is a double post, but I wanted to notify any watchers of this thread that a change had been made ... something I don't believe editing a post creates.
Since the sol'n is rules related there is no need for a spoiler box!
The answer to my question is as follows:
If one holds down the LMB while high lighting an object an option to 'examine' the object appears. This solved the problem for me.
Exactly what to do:
Spoiler:
Use the above option on the desk with the altered parts ... it will reveal a name plate.
