I've read the letter

I don't know if it's extraordinary or not, but I've read the letter to the mages, here it is:
"Venerable Master Xardas,

Your last missive was received with great anxiety. We have conferred upon the matter and are sending you are reply in this letter. The Broderhood is dangerous. It endangers the further success of our trade agreement, which in turn endangers the King, the entriety of the realm and your own life. Therefore, you should dispatch scouts to determine what gods and what knowledge of their magic powers is derived from. It is our duty to dispel the sect and gain their knowledge to prevent anyone from using it for evil purposes. As soon as your answer reaches us, we will inform the priests of Innos of your findings. At this very moment, the scholars are studying the ancient books. We will report our findings to you at once, using the usual means of communication.

May Innos protect us all"

I'm not sure but i think 98% of the people on this forum have read the letter, if you just save ,then read the letter and reload the game, you won't have any consequences.
Except if you have moral issues !!!

There are two instances of the letter,

Letter opened, itwr_fire_letter_02
Letter sealed, itwr_fire_letter_01

Do you know of the outcome of the opened letter. - - ?

The letter is probably the reason for the 'Observe the sect camp' quest.

I deliver the open letter every time, and so fa nothing happens to me.
Probably is a bug, if you open the letter the you give it to milten he doesn't say anything about it and you can have the reward as always...

The first time i played i opened the letter. I can only attest to the fact that I only had one reward option instead of the three when you deliver it sealed.
That's all I have to say on this matter.
later, rordog

No, he is wrong, I always deliver the letter open, I can choose my reward and I always select the mana potion.
