Kill the mages first. When you open the chest with the guard key, you will hear the 'cracking' sound - stand up right away and get close to the spot where mage spawn. As soon as mage is out, thwack it hard. If you let the mage live, it will summon more and more skeletons and soon you're simply overwhelmed.
Of course, once you killed the last of the 3 mages and all the skeletons, you're in for even bigger fight, this time you will get 3 mages, few skeletons and the boss of the place. And that boss sure is not using the crap weapons like the skeletons do, not to mention is much better armored and knows how to fight  It's not easy and with lower level char, pretty much impossoble. Rather leave it for later time and do it then. |

One think disappointed me about the crypt. It was a tough fight to open all chests and win the final battle. But there was no special reward for this. Some minor potions, a bit of gold and a just a decent weapon.

Well, I liked the challenge of the crypt but I wished there would have been something more to that. Not just a challenge for challenge sake.
