Well, as far as I can tell, PB never said it will be out on November 29th outside Germany/Austria/Switzerland. I kindly suggest to play some Morrowind/Tribunal/Arx Fatalis in the mean time!!!
And I say it again: You will be playing a bugfree program wherea the people of the above mentioned countries will be the public beta testers
And finally, which not-english-native game has been released in English at the same time as in...e.g. German? None I can think of...Neither Gothic 1, nor Arx Fatalis....to ame the two most prominent |

Scandinavia, UK and Australia was supposed to get their version at the same time as the germans. And to tell the truth, I would gladly be a beta tester for the best upcoming game this year. Oh no, I mean next year. _________________ There once was a youngster, DzD

Sounds like I should consider learning german
I wonder I took a spanish class and afterwords I had a rudimentary understanding of spanish I could understand some sentences, and read a little.
I bet you it would be a good way to learn german play gothic 2 and have german english dictonary handy! Thats a teaching method through games.
Also I don`t get it why do idiots argue err insult on the forum, what a waste of time I could never understand it? |

It's not something extraordinary when a games delayed, i have seen other RTS & FPS games got delayed just within weeks before the games supposed release date, either because something to do with the game developer or publisher. And the "supposed release date" do not mean the games will definately released on that time. We should take it as likely release date, or an estimate only. In another words, don't get ourselves too excited before a games gone gold.
BTW now i like to see some first impression, review or comments on the Non-English version, see how good it is... _________________

@Paul with the nines. What’s wrong with being a dork? These days dorks and geeks often make very good money. My brother in law is a huge geek and he makes almost six figures at the age of 25. I’m a dork and I intend to turn that into a successful writing career. These days the only time it’s bad to be a dork or geek is in high school, after that it’s the popular kids who suffer. So I ask again, what’s wrong with being a dork? |

But this is only speculation.
Yes, it could be that the publisher wants to release g2 simultaneously at the english market, thus holding back the english version. If they release the game in UK a few months before North America, many people living in North America would just import the game. But publishers don't like it when people import their games since it means a loss of income for their local distributors. |

It seem what Urnakh said is probably right, the game was delayed on marketing purpose. Base on the release dates (below) all generally German speaking countries will get the game first. The publisher synchronizing the game release according to languages and to satisfy the local distributors in each countries... And yet, there is some question remains - why some other game publishers manage to published their game simultaneously? (e.g, IIRC games by Blizzard?)

I'm not too disappointed because it will only be a better game if they use more time to do stuff and also cool RPGS like Arx Fatalis are upon us. The only thing Im worried about is from the sales point of view, they might have sold a lot more releasing it before Christmas? the more it sells the more chance for part 3 |
