Any games like Battlezone 2?

Are there any games that let you control large forces then jump into the action as a charachter in your army, whether as an rpg, or fps, or simply fighting?

If there was, I'd be prolly playing it!

Loved BZII, totally underrrated RTS/FPS hybrid. But the AI of your troops was so horrible at times, it was too much for a lot of people to take. And it ran like crap alot of times as well. But all that doesnt deter my love for it, like Myth II, theres just some games you love no matter what.

Been thinking about putting it back on lately to run it on my big dog pc here, since I always played it on pretty weak pcs in the past. Even just the sniper multiplay battles were fun as heck!

there was a huge mod for it called forgotten enemies that added new races, new campaigns, new weapons, and completaly new ai.

But, now weven with that, the graphics suck. If anyone could tell me how to edit the textures file, I could redu it but..........................I didn't know how last year (neither did anyone I asked) and probably don't know how now.
