| got bilgot out of the valley of mines |

I was wondering if this has hapened to someone else to
when i was going as a mercenary to the miningsites i had to take out a pack of snappers and the leader (you know what i mean, sure you do) i had to promise bilgot to take him out of the valley for information. i killed the snappers and kept my word
I went to bilgot and said come time to go i lead him to the entrance of the valley of mines carefully avoiding all orcs (you can count on it that stupid bilgot attacks one and gets himself killed) when we came at the entrance of the valley of mines he thanks me i get my xp and then it happened
the idiot walks...trippled over a rock fell down and broke his neck  is this suposed to happen because i did not walk all that way up there escorting a frightend old man to see him break his neck by falling over a very very small rock.
i was really suprised he could do that  . so did this happen to anyone else or am i the only lucky guy?

Nop... nut onces he RELLY attacked a big bonch of arcs (something like 3 ellits 1 shamen 4 warriors...) and in his way 6 dragonsnapper aattacked him.... what an idiot... 
so i loaded and he did that again so i dident took a save game...  after a while whan i went to the entrence i found his body liying there 
what an ididot...  how can he be so stupid?  |

When I was suposed to guide him the smart guy ran in front of me while I was using the bow (offcurse I loaded the game) But when I was going to get him up in the castle (yeah, I know..ba idea) he did get up..but he suddenly ran outside the wall and died. hmm...how knows, maybe he is suicidal? but if you teleport yourself to the castle instead of leading him to the pass (after started the quest offcurse) Will he then be at the pass, alive later?? |

I teleport myself to the castle while he was following me but then the game got stuck after I got out from the mages house |

I think you get 600 exp. If you can kill orcs it's not worth it (besides the gratification factor) being as they are 250/300/350 exp a piece and take all of 7 seconds to kill. But this time going through as a mage and it's much more difficult. As a militia/paladin guy, I could kill orcs if solo (the first time you go into Valley) but with mage they completely flatten me. So it's fun to do a little covert retraction and save Bilgot's lame ass. |

It happened to me the first time too.
After he thanks me and start walking up the path...he just drop dead.
I was kinda following him a little.
I reloaded and try again.
This time , after he thank me...I immediately run the opposite direction from Bilgot.
Later when I teleport to the pass..he was OK...sitting down by the log resting and told me that he will take a rest before heading out to the valley gate . So It maybe a bug ..I dont know.
I also killed off all the orcs and creatures before leading Bilgot so it was a very smooth passage. |

I did teleport myself to the castle and when I got back to the pass Bilgot was there, he thanked me and took a rest, but when I was in the land of Khorinis again my game got lost  So don't know what more happend to Bilgot |

Lost your game? How did that happen....do you mean crash?
That will be a pity to lost it becoz I think if you have saved Bilgot...you've prob gone thru a lot by now....what level were u at?. |

As a mage, I simply went through and cleared a path before going back and getting him.
I successfully got him there and he said he needed a rest. (600 XPs)
He was still there all the while up until chapter 5 on one occasion when I went back to get Bif for my team. Then he simply dissapeared.
Bif was weirder though, I got him for my team, escorted him across the pass like I did Talbin and said "Won't be long now".
When I went back to the valley of the mines for some wave of death fun, his dead body was at the entrance. But he was still alive and well when I went to the harbour and took him into chapter 6.
BTW, I have successfully taken 9 companions into chapter six, plus captain and that paladin Girion (sp?)

Wolf
Angar
Vatras
Mario
Lares
+ Captain Jack and Girion
Strange huh.
I tried for even more, but it wouldn't let me. |

it's really annoying...expecally when the game quits 2 sec before you save the game, or even in the middle of the save! (yeah, have happend to me) |
