V: TM Bloodlines crashes when using cab |
|
I've just recently started playing 'Vampires: TM Bloodlines' and must say I like it, good atmosphere and chilling quests... but there is a major error that prevents me from playing any further. I can't find anything about it on one of the forums so here it goes:
I pretty much 'finished' all my quests in Santa Monica and now the cab is available to take me downtown. When I talk to the driver he says something like: 'Where to?', then you get a map display of L.A. when I point it at 'Downtown' (the only other available option next to S.M.) and select that one I am transfered back into dialogue mode with the driver and the game crashes to the desktop displaying this error:
"Can't Change levels while in dialogue mode!"
And that's it.. no more game. Does anyone know what to do to fix this bug?
My computer meets system req. and I have the lastest patch (1.2) from Activision for this game. |

Hrm... try installing the unofficial patch. You can find it here.
Also, you can try increasing your swap file.
There should also be a crash log in the directory for the game. It might have some hints about what's causing the crash, like low memory or the like. Try looking at that as well. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
What do I have to show for my hard work? A piece of paper! Wee!
