why is it closing?

ok im in the militia and finished the addon world part so i went to the valley of mines, got the news of the ore diggers, talked to garaondgot the letter and when i attempt to get back thru the old mine at one point (th same point each time) during loading it closes and wont go bck up and says not responding...what is oging on?

It happens once in a while that something goes wrong while loading a new map, which causes the game to crash. Restarting and trying again solve this most of the time.

It could also be that the savegame became corrupted.
