Greyhawk - Do you think there'll be a sequel?
Of course! In fact, I see more than just one sequel in the future.

Yes, I'm confident there'll be at least one sequel and/or expansion.

- Remus

Well, Remus couldn't have said it better myself. I couldn't imagine Tim Cain releasing a bad product, not even a mediocre product. Now, I did not like Arcanum, but simply because I found the combat to be dry and unsatisfying. (never did figure out that movement bar) However, ToEE is D&D which IMHO is the most deep, satisfying combat system out there. Not to mention games like BG2, Torment, and NWN set the standard for D&D crpgs. I would imagine he constantly compared ToEE to the high standards set by these games. Even the new graphics engine looks like a next generation infinity engine. His team's devotion to accurately translating the 3.5E ruleset and his team's devotion to the fans is amazing. I know I should make my expectations a little lower, but I'm expecting ToEE to be better than the IWD series which IMO was decent, and I'm hoping it's on par with the BG series. In the end this is Tim Cain of whom we are speaking...so I give him the benefit of the doubt. It's like if Bioware made a game....until they prove otherwise my thoughts are..."it's freaking Bioware making this game it has to be good."

In the end who gives a goblin's rear n' about my faith in Tim Cain's production skills?

I defaintely think there will be a sequel..I mean the game has to be selling well because so many people seem to be talking about it..ya know! and since as noted, Tim Cain said he is open to a sequel and most games these days do have sequels i am sure there will be one!

Well, as far as I remmember, Tim Cain was talking about a possible sequel as the game was in development. And I expect that even if the game has poor sales (which is hardly, as at least it is more than good, and there is hardly another DnD based game on the horizon), I believe that there will be a sequel, even as someone (I am sorry for not remmebering the name) said that a possible sequel will take aproximately 12-18 months to complete
