I have to say 2 things about smillies:

1. there are so many smillies that have no trage in here, Like:
... What are they for?

2. Where do you guys get all those cool Smillies? Like the one in Val's sig, And much more... where? (can you please post a link?)

But you maybe already knew how to do this?

Google is a beautiful thing. You can find so many interesting things with it. Like smilies.

Do what I do (if, like me, you have nothing better to do). Create a word document with the urls of the smilies you like and give a short description of them. You can create quite a large library of smilies depending on how many forums you visit.

Can't you people just write what you think and not use smilies? I'm usually too lazy to search for smilies!

Hey, nothing really wrong with smilies - unless you overdo them. When there's one every third word they get a bit annoying, but done correctly they add a lot of information that would otherwise take too long to express.

And if you're looking for something different, Google image search is your friend.

They are also a lot better than all of those abreviations. (eg- lol, rofl, lmao, etc) I'm quite prone to use this little fellow: whenever something is so funny, good old isn't good enough.

I said that using easy-accessed smilies is not bad, but looking for smilies... A bit too much!

I don't look for them, I just take any that other people find. (because I'm lazy)
