Magic crossbow/bow

I found a magic crossbow and a few magic bolts In Qhadoron's grave,
I also know that there is a magic bow in the southwest of the new world (It's isolated, the bridge was destroyed HOW DO I GET THERE?!)
Anyways, I saw how good the crossbow was, my questions are, what's so special about it besides the fact its really good and how do i get more magical bolts/arrows?

If I already posted something I also want to ask, where do I find Greg's tresure map?

I normally climb the mountain and drop down into the area, but getting back out can be a pain. You can use a speed potion or the speed herbs you will find there and jump in/out also, but that is rather hard to do. I prefer to use a transform scroll(lurker) and it is easy to jump back out.

There are no more magic arrows or bolts. What you originally find is all you'll ever have.

It has been awhile, but IF I remember correctly Greg's map is in his hut inside the chest.

Easiest way to do this is by using creature scrolls. Wolves, lurkers, shadowbeasts.. they all jump much further than the hero. Use a lurker scroll when getting down there, and just jump from the small cliff where you can see over to the crossbow(the one above the broken bridge). Lurkers jump far enough to get all the way over there, and for some reason never take any fall damage.

To get back you can use sprintpotions, snapperweed, or a creature scrolls.
