This was explained in just about every thread about the add-on installation.
Gothic2_130_de.exe /X
You can use the "run" oprion in the start menu or create a desktop shortcut and edit the target filename to add the parameter. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot

You'll notice a difference in these two, one the /x is located within the parenthesis and the other the /x (followed by a space) is located after the .exe command in parenthesis. It makes a difference, I use XP with SP2 and I had to apply the /x outside the parenthesis for it to work in extract mode. Hope this helps for some that still have trouble with this . . .
"F:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\Gothic2-Addon-Setup.exe /x"
"F:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\Gothic2-Addon-Setup.exe" /x
