I have Pentium III 1ghz processor with 320mb of RAM, but I've got shared video memory. I have it set for 64mb on the video but when I play, the screen progressively erases to a blank pink screen as I move around. Is there any way I can fix that? It makes gameplay impossible.

Shared memory ?!? I doubt you will be able to get acceptable framerates.

Your only chance except updated drivers is disabling fog.

Open the Gothic.ini search for
zFogDisabled=0
and change it to 1.

scaleVideos=1
set it =0.
