How to use lockpick skill
   

I have the pick locks skill and I have lockpicks, but when I click on the lockpicks nothing happens. How do I open locked chests using this skill and the lockpicks.

Help would be appreciated

When you come upon a locked chest, use the chest (you bend down) and then you have to press left or right in different combinations until the chest opens. Usually it's something like left left, right right, left.
