EA to Cash in on the IPod Frenzy

While not completely RPG related, this news tidbit could have an effect on RPG games released by EA in the last 20 years. Electronic Arts is making some its most popular games' music available for download at ITunes. EA is the first gaming company to jump on the popular music format bandwagon.
Over the last twenty years EA has collceted 3,000 minutes of musical compositions wholly owned by the publisher. This includes epic soundtracks from such games as Medal of Honor. Orchestral works from composers such as Sean Callery, Michael Giacchino, Chris Lennertz, Trevor Jones and Mark Mothersbaugh stand alongside more modern stylings by artists like Da Riffs, Just Blaze and Paul Oakenfold

Check it out at EA's site, ITunes or here.

Hey, unless they have music by Tommy Tallarico, I'm not interested. Whew, good thing for us TT fans we've got Video Games Live to attend for our Tommy fix. What? It was canceled? Noooooooo! Well, at least he still has that sweet gig on G4. His opinions on recent games are so astute and informative.

Oh boy. You can tell it's a Monday. Sorry, Tommy.
