i think they should have a multi gender option for those poor women out there who have to play as a guy.... then they can play as a girl and get brand new talks with the npcs! completely different reactions.

Like morrowind huh?

If I can play Tomb Raider and Darkened Skye as a girl, girls should be able to tolerate it!

I don't think a female main character really fits the world of Gothic. If you're allowed to be a woman in Gothic 1, how many times do you think you'll be raped? I dunno, maybe the world outside the colony will be "lighter"?

It is somewhat true. Think about entering Gothic 1 as a female. She starts at level 0 at the beginning, so she has nothing to protect herself. What would happen when she enters the Old Camp the first time? Almost the entire camp is full of men. Think about it. Well, if this "dirty" concept does not apply, having a gender option would be nice. Creating a character like Xena would prove to be impressive!

Look at Xena (this is just a test, the first time I post an image):

Modern science has been unable to tell, that is why most people turn to God for the answer, and when that fails, they will go insane.

i really like the idea of being a dragon warrior & working for the dragons. it would be nice to have a stable dragon as an employer. they have all that loot, so i am sure the compensation wouldn't be bad. the real question is whether dragon's offer a benefits package? also nice is the idea of being a dragon rider. however, i suspect that would make your character way too strong.

Pardon me ignorance despite having finished Gothic twice... but is the Sleeper a dragon?

Do you think in G2, we'll be able to kill the dragons directly? Or will we have to do some quests and pierce five hearts... or something like that?

The Sleeper was a demon, not a dragon.

The Sleeper looks like a minecrawler king too!

.....Dragon slayer is the last rank of that class i believe...Anyways jsut because your named dragon slayer doesnt mean you have to kill dragons. Since its the last rank maby u kill the dragons then instead...since there prolly the hardest monster in the game.

"Anyways jsut because your named dragon slayer doesnt mean you have to kill dragons." -deathquake

huh...did i read that right? what am i missing here? so i can be some sort of dragon slayer adminstrator: "yes, i am a dragon slayer...no, i don't kill dragons. i just do the paper work." what? what is the point of being a dragon slayer if you don't slay dragons? i think this speaks to the initial question: what is a dragon slayer to do in a world where there are no dragons.

He would propably tell people that dragons exist and make cheap wooden fake dragons and "kill" them on their eyes to be famous and make money

I wonder if the dragons will be the hardest enemies in the game?
Or maybe not enemies - maybe you must convince them to help you in the war with orcs? Or maybe the orcs.. ah forget it...
