i still think there is no way they could end the battle between innos and beliar, end the orc war, be rid of evil, and start and finish the fight against xardas in one game... just think about for a second and you will agree
Not unless it is one hell of a long game, for which I'm so hoping. And, I don't agree. The battle between Gods is everlasting for sure, and pretty much same goes for the war between orcs and humans. So, basically, the only thing that needs finishing is the Xardas thingie... |

heres how it end, the gods all kill each other off in the final battle causing the loss of all magic in the wold, the destruction of the magical ore, and the destruction of the orc species leaving only the destroyed human world in which all of society must rebuild itself from the ashes
what you guys think of it? |

I think that the way the story progresses, indicates a sort of
climax-wrap up in G3.(Several story threads seem to have an
ending scheduled there anyway i.e Lee's grudge against the King,
the orc war, our hero's reckoning with Xardas). Besides (storywise)
to extend the current story arc even further would probably result
to some fatigue and a drop of the narrative quality (like butter spread
over too much bread )
Anyway there is nothing to stop them from Making a sequel (or a prequel
very popular these days ) loosely (or even not at all) connected
to the events of the trilogy !. It just has to take place in the world of Gothic
with recognizable factions, facts (and monsters ofcourse) and adopt the same
adventure-action-rpg approach that we all love. It could be:

well if u think a little bit more far than G3 then lets start a little bit there could be a little bit Spiler stuff also but that can lead to the 4 part.
1.As u know the story of G1 there was The sleeper . The hero only banned that creature and it went to another dimention so it is still alive somewhere.
2.The Orc Wall in G2 in valley of mines i am sure they could show something in G4 what is behind it
3.This will go probably to G3 or maybe to G4 you Meet Urk-Shak and this time he wont be friendly.
those are only a few links |

... and the real THIRTEENTH magician needs to appear...
Remember that Milten is also a prisoner in the colony, so all the previous fire mages and water mages include Xardas in the colony, all of them are only twelve. -Who is the hidden magician, where is him, and what will he do in further story...? _________________ 道可道也,非恒道也。名可名也,非恒名也。

I think we should learn why the hero got chucked into the colony the first place. Also, i have a sneaking suspicion our hero has some relation to king Rhobar (look at the opening cinamatic in G1 they look identical). Oh, and the orcs win the war subjecting man kind to and age of horror never before seen (or something) and guess whoes job it is to free the citizens of Myrtana? |

yea..I just never want Gothic to end..theres no game (except maybe Morrowind) that comes close to Gothic..it just sucks you in..and when uv finished you can play again as a different faction..but nothing compares to playing a Gothic game through first time |

Eat-Lead is right. There is NOTHING like playing a Gothic game for the very first time. Just knowing that there is whole world out there for you to explore full of things to find, people to meet, and mysteries to behold.
Sure, other games offer worlds to explore but none of them in such a convincing, immersive manner as the Gothics. Very good 3D graphics, full voice acting, free exploration with little to no "loading screens".
I've been playing CRPGs since the 80s and I don't think I've ever been as excited about starting a game as I was with Gothic 2. Maybe Ultima 7:Part 2, perhaps. _________________ All shall hear the words of Karras...the words of Karras |
