Gosh Darn Slaves and their Hunters

Does anyone know how to kill the slave hunters in Ald Veloth? I can't, even though they attack me first, and people see it, I get a bounty. I can't even Chameleon 100% and sneak to kill them. Nor can I shoot at them from afar with a bow and run. Does anyone know away I can get a Khijit past em?
