Hit the ptr scn button and paste the picture into a program, such a paint. Or use a screenshot utility. You can get one here.

When you hit prt scr, the image is copied to the clipboard. Only one item can be on the clipboard at once. Then enter a graphics program and paste the image into the program from the clipboard by pressing 'ctrl' + 'v', or selecting paste from the edit menu.

There isnt any way to take multiple screenshots withouthaving to exit the game each time!
I trying this utility thing but it is not working so far.
It's a shame though, Gothic has so many wonderful pictures to take.

The UO utility works like a charm. It has to run in the background. Every time you hit print screen a file with the default name and an incremented number is saved into the UO directory. |

I dont get it!
There are no pics in my uosu133 folder
Do I need to have this folder in a specific place, like in the gothic folder, or desktop or wherever?
I hit the print scr key and the only shot I get is when I paste to the paint program.
However this screenshot is in .bmp form
Is that the problem?
How do I change it from saving as .bmp to .jpg?
I tried playing arround with different key assingments also but to no avail.
Please bear with a newbie! |

With the UO program, I often have to hit print screen a dozen times before it will save. Sometimes by computer just 'beeps' at me... other times it freezes the screen for a split second. There's no way of telling which resulted in a successful picture being nabbed.

Just keep your finger at the button, it works wonders for shooting amazing photo series .
But it's true, the first pic takes quite a while. After that, the pics' timing is quite right...
