I gave it to the Sand People to learn their history.
I kept it on my second play through the game.

I also gave mine to the Sand People, but I was thinking of getting it back. You don't seem to get any dark points for slaughtering Sand People, but it just didn't sit with my role play character, so I didn't.
The hunter's hut guy pays 675(?) creds for it. I was hoping to get few grand for it so I can buy some nice goodies on Yavin.

Didn't know you could give it to the Sand People or how you even can talk to them but I used it in my two-bladed lightsaber in which my lightsaber ended up in 11-39 damage

After my bug with the sandpeople... well... there are no more sandpeople.
I put mine in my saber. I now have a +6 to hit lightsaber, which puts me to something like +23 to hit at level 12. Not too shabby... I block blaster shots silly-style.
