I knew it! This is exactly what I said was going to happen. That the USA publisher would re-release Gothic 2 in a "GOLD" version (including the addon) in anticipation of Gothic 3 next year.

How much you want to bet Navarre will handle Gothic 3 too?

This is fantastic news! I hope it's not too good to be true. I almost ordered NOTR from Botonland.cz last night but I had a nagging feeling that I should wait. I'm glad I did. Gothic 2 and NOTR for $19.99!!

Im not gonna belive anything until i see the game in my hands its been so long since i beat Gothic 2 and waiting for this so when or "if" we get to place this i'll be lost and forget what went on in part 2

Every addon ive played for any game have been pretty crappy and nothing like the original i hope this is pretty good i heard its 30 hours long if you do all the quests etc can any one confirm this or let me know how long it took you to beat it?

and is it really harder like they say?

I played the German version with subtitles. It's an awsome addon.
As far as increasing the difficulty, It's almost too hard.

How long is the addon? How long did it take you to complete it? and does it feel like an addon or just playing gothic 2 all over again with the same stuff and quests kinda?

It adds a lot of content, and yes, it's definitely worth playing through the whole game again to experience it. It adds a whole new map to explore that increases the size of the original Gothic 2 by about a 3rd.

Watching for Gothic 2 Gold

Aspyr Media Inc.

This is the name of the company dealing with Gothic Gold. This will be who to watch. I believe they handled DOOM 3 as well.

So, we have to wait until November?

Well, at least we will be amused a bit more until Gothic3 comes out.

This pisses me off. I just paid almost $60 for the German expansion.
