Morrowind GotY Edition (Xbox): Review @ Gameshark

Bethesda's GotY Edition of Morrowind for the Xbox continues it's stellar run of reviews with Gameshark's article awarding 9/10:
So let's sum it all up, shall we. If you bought the original Morrowind and put it down shortly thereafter because the sheer size and scope of the thing overwhelmed you, the GOTY edition is an even bigger intimidator and you should probably give it a pass. On the other hand, if you would like to try questing in the land of Morrowind for the first time or played the original game until you actually started dressing like your character and addressing the neighbor's dog as "outlander", better get to your game store with your paltry $30 and pick up The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game of the Year Edition right away. There are more lands yet to explore.

Not bad, merely adequate

I own the GOTY edition for Xbox.

It's worth $30 to me because I love Morrowind, but this port has two major flaws. 1) Instability: the game has practically pioneered the idea of crashing on a console. 2) POV: the fixed camera has been set to minimize draw-in, and the result is a somewhat claustrophobic view; in many situations, perhaps all, it would have been better to sacrifice a little framerate and a little view distance for a broader point of view. Why not allow users to set this to taste?

The crashing is unforgiveable, the POV issue may not bother you at all.
