Doing it the hard way

I know many of you have done things to make the game MUCH tougher and I wondered what is the toughest situation you have run across.

For instance, clearing out the orc territories while very low level(the orcs/skeles are no cakewalk, but the Razors are a real bitch), or entering the old mine when doing the diggers quest. BTW, I have not tried the kick boxers quest.

Ok, what has been the toughest for you?

The survival thing. Doing the whole game without dying once(no fall, no kills, etc). Doing so without being killed is easy, but I always end up doing some crazy jump on a cliff or something and fall to my death, hehe. And then I have to start the whole game over. Of course if you want it HARD, do a kickboxer/diggerquest game in "survival mode". This is as good as impossible, but I've never tried it(I don't plan to either, hehe).

I tried to beat the game without joining any camp. But the last undead orc must be killed with uriziel . It was fun anyway.

By FAR the no reload games were the toughest overall, but specific points in the game made me cringe, but most of these were as a low level character.......for some reason entering the old mine is tough for me. I can run to the right, jump down, and fight the one dude that follows, but I always seem to get into the firing line of the crossbows above, no matter were I stand and fight. Of course I make it, but my health suffers each time. For awhile I got where I would wave of ice(if available) and run right and jump down, then go left and smack down the minecrawler...wait there to take out the dude that always follows...now that he has thawed out lol.

The no reload game as a mage is simply tough in situations like that. A mage is simple when you can use ranged spells and run when needed, but close s hit is very nerve racking on a no reload game. Oddly enough the sleeper's temple is a breeze as a mage for me....well it is a breeze with any character.

You mean the free mine? A tip on how to deal with it. Go the backway. Most people don't think of this, but it's much easier to take care of the minecrawlers first, then kill the guards from the other side(starting out near the orc, and killing your way upwards).

If you mean the old mine, I can't think of anyone there that would fire a crossbow against you.. ? Only minecrawlers to fight there(and the queen)..

Maylander, you have me totally confused. I do mean the free mine, that you enter with Gorn. What backway do you mean? I know of only one way in, and you get a load screen....then BAM!, you are under fire. One guy runs at you with a sword as two crossbowmen have you in crossfire.
