is there a way to turn off shadows, make the site near,etc... in the Morrowind.ini file? My friends game does not seem to be able to do that in game because it crashes when he tries. |

it can be done in the options of the game itself.
I didn't adjust the .ini file except for screenshot and i'm running the game without shadows. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

Yes, I know about cards that are able to run game, but are not able to run option screen. Because these cards are usually below requirements, people who use it usually need to adjust setting, but they can not.
If you will read ini file, you will find several lines, where you can udjust performance:
(however I am not really sure about it, so backup your original ini file)
Number of Shadows= (set it to 0 or 1)
Maximum Shadows Per Object= (set it to 0 or 1)
Make yourself sure that this section look like thit
[LightAttenuation]
UseConstant=0
ConstantValue=0.0
;
UseLinear=1
LinearMethod=1
LinearValue=3.0
LinearRadiusMult=1.0
;
UseQuadratic=0
QuadraticMethod=2
QuadraticValue=16.0
QuadraticRadiusMult=1.0
This is not all, but I can not find something for resolution etc. |
