| Who do i take on the boat with me? |
|
Can somone pelase give a list of characters taht i should take on the boat with me...
also...whats this talk of consecrating a sword...what swords can i do that with...how do i do it...etc...i have dragon slicer sword right now...i know there are better swords...where do i get them?

You can concecrate sword only if You are paladin. From what You wrote I think You are Dragon Slayer so its not for You. This class can get its most powerfull weapon the other way.
I took Vatras, Milten, Diego, Biff, Angar, Lee, Benet. Can be taken Lester, Lares, Marco (sth wrong with him - just a feeling in my experienced bones).
Probably someone else can add to that.
Then You have to find captain : Jack, Joram or Torlof - but only one of them. |

Great, so this is the right thread to list all the captains and ship crew. I didn't start Chapter 6. All I can do is to translate all the stuff from German. Hope you understand.
Captains
- Jack - City habour Khorinis; Lighthouse if you killed the bandits for him
- Jorgen - Outside the monastery [quest: Clean Xardas' tower]
- Torlof - At Onar's farm [quest: open the gate at the castle, letting orcs get in]
Crewmen
- Angar - provides support during the fight
- Bennet - skills (smith, 100 strength), weapon
- Biff
- Diego - skills (100% bow, 100 dexterity, lockpicking), advices, arrows
- Girion - skills (100% 1h, 100% 2h, 100% crossbow)
- Gorn - skills (100% 2h)
- Lares - skills (100% 1h, 100 dexterity, sneak)
- Lee - skills (100% 1h, 100% 2h)
- Lester
- Mario - 5000 experience
- Milten - potions, herbs (King's Sorrel), runestone, skills (mana, making runes)
- Vatras - skills (alchemy), potions, herbs (King's Sorrel), complete heal
- Wolf - skills (100% bow, 100% crossbow) [dragon hunter only?]
All the people are there, but I can't guarantee that the details are accurate. If there's any mistake in this list, please identify them and hopefully I can edit it.

If you are at the secret library, make sure you have read the alamach on one of the bookstands. You'll then be able to forge the most powerful sword in the game. There are several threads about how to find the raw materials (ore and dragon bloods) in this forum. Search for it.  |

a question for anyone whose taken marco with them:
Is it safe? does he do anything BAD? If it's ok to take him, I shall do that when i replay as a paladin.

Marco runs away the first time the orcs attack the ship and he is a friend to the orcs says Lester cause he just went right through them without them attacking him..so i dont know if its good or bad to take him along..i would guess bad! |

The minimum is five, including you, so u only need four.
Oh, btw, you can talke wolf as any class, i took him a paladin.
Damn, i should have took angar, but i thought gorn would help me in a fight.

i'd recomend taking milten, vatras, diego, angar as well as 6 others, since the maximum is 10.
milten and vatras can sell you kings sorrell, and increase your mana and and vatras can heal your wounds for free and i think he an teach alchemy. diego can give advise if your stuck (so can we, but it's nice not to have to exit the game to get help right?), angar will fight with you on the island upto a certain point. You need people who can train you in everything you need to learn.

I assume that if you take only friends, then there's no point in Lester. |

I'd take him if he would wear something other than that glorified toga.
And it doesn't help that he seems to fancy weapons consisting of blunt balls and long sticks.  |

How do I get approval to use the ship? I am sortof reluctant to opening the gate to the old castle and letting the orcs rip havoc in there.. Being a good guy and all.. hehe.. Any other way to either get approval from Hagen or get him on his way so I can grab the ship when he's gone?

Entering orcs into castle has no influence on getting ship.Hagen will still stay in Khorinis. As Paladin it was enough for me to talk to Girion who guards the ship and he decided to help me. Probably the same for the mage. As I know from this forum Dragon Slayer has to do some dirty jobs for Judge and then blackmail him with some false papers forged by Lee - but maybe someone else may explain with all the details?
Captains - anyone will get You there. But I think that only Torlof can teach You in chapter 6??
To very good Kiwi Boy`s post - to get Jack You must find him a replacement which btw is not very hard. |
