I had this game since '98, back then I had a Monster Fusion Banshee 16 mb 3-d card....then a Creative Labs TNT2 Ultra 32 mb and now I have a Geforce 4 ti4600 128 mb 3-d card......the last 2 cards I couldnt get to work with Redgaurd (without using software mode of course) no matter what I tried, even tried it with Matrox G400 32mb card .....anyone know of anyway I can play it these days? I love the game

Redguard supports graphic cards in hardware mode by using the glide library; so you have to use a 3dfx card or software mode, sorry.

I believe there are Glide wrappers you can mess around with if you are so inclined. Try doing a search for them. Trouble is though some games won't install at all if they don't detect a 3dfx card.

Or you can buy voodoo2 card againg (or two voodoo 2 cards in sli mode). It's incredibly cheap nowdays. I'm going to do it myself soon
(to play I-War 1).
