Gothic II running problem

I got a problem running Gothic II. When I try to start the game nothing hapens, I press Alt-Control-Delete and it reports that Gothic II doesn't respond. I tried to install the game on another system: same problem.
I have Pentium 3, windows 1998, enough disk space, Nvidia TNT2 pro, DirectX 9.0, 32 MB ram.
Does enyone know what the problem might be?

The problem could be that you did not read the FAQ.

well those 32 rams ouch it thats the first problem

and the second probably is the graphic card

Thanks people, I installed it on a laptop that had better hardware and it runs nicely on it.
