Who is the Greatest Hero Ever?

If, without knowing anything about the situation, you could only send one person to save the day, who would you send? Can be any one person from movies, books, comics, TV.

Graham, great answer!

I'd say my mom. She's saved my ass plenty of times.

Superman. If you're going to do it... might as well do it right.

Superman? Okay, I'll counter with Image Comics' Supreme... and then let's see how things'll turn out.

MacGyver. If you need someone to work with basic resources and still produce something wonderful - like building a fully-working nuclear reactor from a box of paperclips, two heads of lettuce and a small dog - MacGyver is your man.

Batman, the one from the comics, not the TV show or movies. He can solve any problem. Besides, he kicked Superman's butt.

Stupid exo-suit.

Still, Batman is one of the greats. I'd get Superman to save the world... I'd get Batman to figure out what was threatening it in the first place.

Superman, without a doubt.
You know... Other heroes.... They are normal people who turn into a poweful being. Superman is a hero who has to disguise as a normal being. (OK... I took this from Kill Bill II)

Indiana Jones...sure his "powers" are limited...but he'd get the girl and save the world with some class and panache.

If I could only send one person to save the day I would send James Bond.

Here' s why I would send a mere mortal.
He is perfect in the moment of truth, knows everything, impossible to kill, able to kill anyone, able to destroy anything, able to drive/pilot any vehicle, able to seduce any and all females, guaranteed to make all deadlines and escapes just in a nick of time, guaranteed to have exactly what he needs when he needs it, and able to bend all laws of phyics and reality to his favor in the moment. Plus, he has the absolute coolest head under pressure. By definition he can not lose.

Hmmm, right now I think that the best hero right now out there is The Bride - cause she can kick ass with only her katana and doesn't have any so special abilities.
