I have the PC version of Tribunal and every time I try to kill the Dark Brotherhood leader, the game starts a conversation and it says Greetings repeatedly, and I can't do anything but leave the game. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this. I really want to end the Dark Brotherhood quest. Many thanks! |

That is caused by a collision with Bloodmoon. Make sure you install the 1.6.1820 patch from the official site:

I agree with the suggestion about getting the patch, but if for any reason you or anyone needs to get by that bug with the unpatched version, the following worked for me:
When the dialogue endless loop begins, bring up the console (default US key is ~ ) and type "ToggleScripts" (don't include quotation marks). Exit the console and kill the guy. Get the writ and anything else you want from his corpse, and then LEAVE THE AREA. I usually use an Almsivi Intervention to return to the Temple in Mournhold. Bring up the console again and type "ToggleScripts", again without the quotes. You will then get a Journal update about talking to a guard and can go on with the game as usual.
I learned this stuff before the latest patch was available
