Revisiting Morrowind

Gretings

I just reloaded MW after a long while. I last played it about a year ago when I got it just after it came out. I suppose I'm just looking for an update on the game since about August of last year.

What are the must have Mods out there? There must be many more Mods out there since I last played. Are there any more patches after v1.2.0722? (I can't access the official MW site for some reason).

Should I get the new expansion Tribunal (I think it's called) if I'm starting over from scratch? Are there other expansions?

I remember being kind of bored with this game when I stopped playing but I decided to give it another chance. (too quiet and static, boring armor, redundant quests and dungeons)

I'm thinking of creating a stealthy ranger type char with alchemy (that's the one with the herb mixing right?) and maybe restore Marksman, light armor, shortblade, sneak,security.etc.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you

Tmas

You have the latest patch.

Tribunal has been out for a while. The second expansion, Bloodmoon, just went gold and should be available in a couple weeks.

There's plenty of new mods out. Several came out when Tribunal was released, and require it to work. Check out Morrowind Summit.

If you want to play it (again), you should get Tribunal. It will make whole world larger and alone the journal transformation is very useful.

How has the journal been changed?

The quests are sorted, so you can see which quests you already done and which are close. You can then chose one of the quests and see all relevant journal entries. Works rather nifty
