The Bandit Camp
   

What are they there for? They attack you on sight, and no matter what, I can't get them to stop. As far as I know, they're just XP and loot. I noticed that one of them was named Quentin, but he's not invincible or anything, not a crucial plot character. Does anybody know what purpose they serve, or do they serve no purpose?

Yeah i was there too but it should've been a quest but i think the devs removed the quest cause they didn't have time ( nor money) to wait longer to release the game !!!
Its like the first mine u see after u meet diego where u get a pickaxe !!!!
Thats was also meant to be a dungeon but they removed it !!!

Aw man, a dungeon there would have been good. Just think of the creatures they could have put in there. There should be a mod for that dungeon.

That mine becomes the pass to khorinis in Gothic 2

they made the abandoned mine the SECOND pass to Korinis because they didnt want(for any reason) to unleash a MOD for it.The main pass to Korinis is where the boxes with the goods from the freeland (or the land of the kings) are in Gothic 1.
