Perhaps in all of the threads specifically covering a single game there could be a sticky thread giving a link to the official game site. |

What a great idea Roach. I second your suggestion. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

Do you mean the forums (like the "Gothic" forum) or news posts? _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

You know you can click on the little picture thingy to go straight to the database page for that game, right? That has the website link, dev link, publisher link and every newspost for that game. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

Yeah.. (almost) every newsbit has a "Homepage" link in the header. It's going to forward you to the official website of the game. If you should ever find a link that is not working we'd more than welcome a heads-up so we can change it in the database. It's nigh impossible to keep track of so many games and keep the entries fully up to date. You know, when entering games into the database we just copy&paste the link to the official website and sometimes forget to change it from e.g. www.gamename.com/index.html to (the more fail-safe) www.gamename.com/ ... so if we leave the .../index.html part in and the devs revamp their site and make the index something like .../default.asp our link will become inoperable. If you find entries like that by accident shout, yell, scratch and bite, please . |
