Ok, I have played about 40 hours now, gained quite a few levels, and covered (as far as i know) every inch in and around the town;
- not found any goblinberrys
- not found any Hunters or alike that can teach me how te skinn animals.
I would have suspected to find these thing by now. Im i blind, is it a bug, or is this normal. I dont mind searching another 10 hours if i just was sure am heading in the right direction.
Please help me out?

For the Goblinberry's:
-Kill the Goblins near where you first enter the city. One of them should be carrying some Goblinberry's.
-Or, go through the city take a Right and go up the mountain. Go past the farm, around the corner by the burned out wagon, and you'll come to a Tavern. There should be some Goblinberry's under a tree nearby (near some Scavenger's if my memory serves me).
One of the shopkeeper's in town can teach you to skin animals. You can apprentice to him if you want, but you don't have to in order to learn basic skinning. You will need his approval to apprentice to anyone though. |

Finding Goblin Berries on Black Goblins (the only ones bound to carry them) is not a very effective way of getting them, since it is determined randomly if they carry one or not with each reload. The same is true for the Orc Elite and the Dragonroots they carry.
If you need to find Goblinberries in the open wilderness then please refer to these maps:

They should be understandable even for English people although they are in German, since the locations are color-coded and the names are not that different. They were made by a German forum moderator called Schlauerhamster, a very knowledgeable guy about most things happening in Gothic 2. |
