I'm rather proud of myself(re: getting one of the stones) :)

I was at the mountain fort getting one of the focus stones and after clearing out the the fort I met Lester back at the entrance where he gives me 4 telekinesis spells. Cool...I got cast one and..."You do not have enough mana for this spell"...not cool. I am a pure melee fighter with 5 mana and the camps are a looong way away. Wow...what to do, what to do...I go up to the second level and try to jump across...can't reach it. Then I remember the New Camp mage gave me some potions including a potion of speed. I gulp it down and hope for the best. I sprinted and lept off the ledge...bingo! I made it with no health loss. I excitedly picked up the focus stone and headed on to the next one with my head held high.

Don't know if that's the way it was intended but I am not the best at solving puzzles in games so I was rather pleased with myself...doesn't take much I guess

Clever thinking. I'm impressed! You should consider learning acrobatics if you haven't already.

I had the same problem too. Instead of jumping I used the scoll and teleported back to new camp to buy a mana ring of Cronos. Then I had to run all the way back to the fort. The next time I did it I was prepared.

I'll get more mana as soon as I can grow enough levels to learn 100 mana. Then come the potions. I will have more than 250 mana.

Meatbugs are great climbers. I know of one place that only a meatbug can go. On top of the temple were the demons drop down from, in the Sleeper temple.

Meatbugs cannot climb absolutely vertical places.

Can meatbugs attack? Then you could make a superstrong meatbug by cheating and conquer the world.
