Help me?
   

I like this game... but, i find it really hard. Im like level 3, and im supposed to find out who killed some guy at the castle in town. I have no hints on what todo, I have talked to a couple of people... the snake creature in the library tells me to search throu his belongings in his quarters... but the door is locked! How do I get in?

What level "should" I be? I find it VERY slow to level up...

Felnor, the alchemist in the room behind the librairy, gave you the key to fzlzn room if you have talked to him...
