Gothic INI Editor translated to english(not all the way) |
|
First post really but thats only because I've been playing this game alot more and I just recently found a Gothic 2 INI Editor(which works with Gothic 1 aswell) but in german. So I translated it a bit(going online and looking up the word)and by using a hex editing program(Hex Workshop) granted im not great at it but I did edit mostly everything but the info/nfo section and the agreement part.

My friend asked "why did you download that when you could just edit it with notepad?" I simply told him because its easier to work with and why not? its nto going to kill you to use a ini editing program like this plus the sections are grouped and so on. Again I don't credit MAKING the program, and the info on the guy is in the program itself(I didn't even put my name on the program) so there you are, and don't flame me about crap like "you shoulden't have translated that!!!" because its NOT going to matter if I did or not, I just did it so I could read it better, although really you don't need to. So think of it was something to do with free time on your hands... |

Thanks for the info. Maybe you want to post it in the G2 forum too. It has a bit more traffic. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

thanks, and I will once I translate even more of it and the thing is the translating kinda sucks(like the agreement don't actually make sense) so I made the agreement slightly easier to understand so yeah I guess I'll post it there too |
