ever tried the official site? http://www.morrowind.com has all the officially released stuff like movies and things. search around a little on the forum there and you might find links to the unofficial bootleg movies... that in fact show more than any of the official ones do... although at lower quality. |

I hope that it will be a good game for the sake of RPGers and Bethesda. I think they (Bethesda)have alot riding on the outcome of that game. The screenshots at their website don't look very impressive to me though; artwork looks very dated. They have been working on this game for many years now, I hope it's not obsolete before it's ever published. I liked Daggerfall, despite it's many bugs; but the games Bethseda published later along that line sucked. Let's hope Morrowind doesn't follow suit.

Well, I am sure Morrowind will be a great game. From what I have seen, it is anything else but dated, regarding graphics. RPGDot should get a preview version of the editor this month, I can tell you more about it then

how could you even question the greatness of Morrowind? It will be the greatest RPG game to come out so far. |

Resistance is futile...all your base are belong to us...
I can't wait for it to come out either. I'm really annoyed with so many games nowadays that keep pushing back release dates, though. If you don't think you can make a deadline, then DON'T give out a date... just say 2002....and then, as things get closer, say spring..or 1st quarter...and then give the gone gold publicity, and ship dates... so many rabid gamers cannot be drug along by these big companies!!!

Thats exactly what they have been doing with Morrowind for the most part... They never announced an offical date. Since they informed us that it wasn't going to be out last fall they have been saying Spring 2002. Now that its Spring 2002 they have finally said May 2002. Since the release date had never been offically released there really hasn't been any release date slide... The problem is that all the sites make up non-official dates for the release and when they get pushed back they blame Bethsoft rather than the websites.... |

Well, that's my mistake then. I subscribe to various PC mags, and thought I had seen the release date as 'official' at one time or another. If not for Morrowind, certainly for other games..Soldier of Fortune 2, for example..
I think games should be totally secret until a playable demo comes out...then, none of this overhype would happen!!!
