PLEASE HELP!!!
It's about 400 degrees in the shade and I'm trying to figure out why Morrowind is being such an a''hole. I start it up....it's MAD slow and only fills the top part of my screen. I tried to troubleshoot this issue and OF COURSE the morrowind site is down for updating.
Searched forever to find some sort of troubleshoot link yet to no avail, I wound up here.
I bought this game used so I don't have ANY instructions.
Can any one help???? I really just want to sit and play this game tonight!

Try to restart your comp (i guess you tried that), if it does not work, try to find the latest patch for morrowind. You could also try re-installing the game or getting new drivers to your 3d-card. |

We need full system specs/software versions before being able to make any real suggestion, but definitely upgrade the video drivers. Also do the usual things you do to get Windows to work: defrag, scandisk, reinstall the video drivers, reinstall DirectX and reinstall the game.
Let us know how you get on... _________________ Charlie Dobbie

your compupter is likely running too hot on top of your other problems. move it to the basement, or take that money you are saving for a vacation and buy an air conditioner. |

Wellcome!,
We have many very helpfull people here if only you could provide the detail of your computer system.
Anyway, there is several things you could do:
1)update sound card driver, video card driver, install new VIA 4 in one driver (if you use VIA motherboard).
2)try adjust your video/graphic setting
3)try disable unnecessary programs running on background
4)defrag your hard disk and run scandisk.

It is not necessary to buy a Dell computers.
There is many other decent brands available.
And beside that, everyone could try to become a Dell computers.

because i talked about something else ......sorry to misleading you
Anyway, i did noticed that Dell system always overpriced and under powered compare to DIY system; because we have to pay for Dell's big cost of operating, customer services, not to mention the huge advertisments cost, etc. If i want to buy computer, i rather go for clone pc or DIY system. _________________
