Don't worry Balconygolf - the punishments for spamming are supposed to be punishments. If it's obvious that you refuse to follow the rules and don't care what happens to your post-count, we'll just have to get creative.

Actually, balconygolf, I think he meant that if he took the time to put your post count down to 0 he would get rid of your posts...

He should also erase posts from others members that posted to my threads so he should be in much trouble to figure out how to do it....but I am counting

I dont know wherethere is right to post here or at the New Comments but I have a sujjestion for anti-spamming:In the absolutely out off topic forum every posts shouldnt be added to the postcount of who he made the post.
In that way spamming would be prevented.What do you think?

Excluding the OT and usergroups from post count have been discussed before, as well as getting rid of post count and corresponding 'benefits' altogether.
Both wouldn't prevent off-topic or superflous posts in on-topic threads from being deleted, however.
Right now spamming is a minor problem; should it turn into a major problem, something will be done for sure.
