OK, we now have 400 rotten flax in the small chest by the hacklingrake.
Now I'm trying to make a kettle so we can make greenhouses. But to make one I need to use the master's casting box... 600 charcoal to burn, 500 of it used it the initial lighting. I'm glad we got that second cc oven, cause without this would take hours. I'm up to about 400 cc so far. |

Very nice. I take it you used the copper wire I had in the expansion tent? I'll have to make more then.
Gah! DON'T fire that thing until I've got a the brass for those brass plates. I DON'T want to fire that thing a second time! _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

No, I used my modest personal copper stash and made new wire.
Alright I'll let you fire the casting box, I'll put 30 iron and 30 beeswax (which I did steal from the expansion tent) as well as 4 copper sheeting (Also from my, now almost empty, personal stash) in the chest with the charcoal. You make an iron pot in the casting box, then when it's done select projects, misc, build kettle to add the copper sheeting. |

Actually, I made copper for copper sheeting for the kettles. It's in the expansion tent. Feel free to turn that copper into sheeting if you like.
I plan to make 2 Kettles. (Unless you think one will be enough?) That mean 8 copper sheeting. There should be enough copper in the tent for 4 more copper sheeting. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Alright then I'll use the expansion tent to double the misc stuff in the cc box. Speaking of which how much cc are you going to need. It takes 500 to ignite then 2 cc per minute, two kettles will take twenty minutes, so if you are going to make you bearings are you going to need more than 600 cc?.
Edit: Ew I just realized I'm already up to 670. |

Well, first, there's the brass I need for the plates. Then there's the plates themselves. The brass will take about ~1700 charcoal. I'm going to be making lots of charcoal tomarrow.
And making a wood run or two.
Sadly, brass plates take 30 minutes to cool. That 2 hours. That's 120 minutes. The 240 charcoal. Understand why I want to wait before firing that charcoal burning monster?
*sigh* We should look into getting a Charcoal Brazier. Or convincing someone to build a public one. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Ouch! I'm not going to make that much cc. And it turns out there was no copper sheeting left in the expansion tent, so the cc may be under 600 by the time you get on.
I also just realized that if the initation test into body allows the use of waypoint travel (don't know if it will or not) then I can do the whole thing in about five minutes. |

I said copper, not copper sheeting.
I'll be making the bulk of the cc then. No surprise there. Ah well, you're talking to the same person who once grew 2000 onions all at once for several hours straight.
About the test of body, if you do pass it be sure to remember the course so we can run everyone through it to get everyone passed.
Btw, did Adder finish his Obelisk yet? _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

It may have changed since then but last time I was there, which was a in the first beta 3 session, all but one of the requirements could be found very close to the UoB. The only one that was a problem was the climbing, you need a banner, but if it let's my use a waypoint then I can use the one in camp. Of course that's a big if.
Edit: Damn I just tried it, it won't let me WP without canceling the test. Oh well, I'll head down there anyway and hope that someone built a banner nearby. At least now we have twenty minutes to do the test, it used to be only ten. |

I'm sure an FOA member built one there. They are very oriented towards passing the tests. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Yippee! I'm initiated into body, and I did it in our own backyard. I used our flag for the climbing, and finnished with about 5 minutes to spare.
But I don't like the first test, I have to find remote alters without any clue as to where they are, and be one of the top people to find these remote alters on three seperate days. The bright side of it is that if I can do it it will increase my speed. |

Cool. We'll just have to keep our eyes peeled for an altar in a remote place. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I completed the test of body to.
So i'm next in line if roach passes the test. Otherwise we would be competing against eachother.
We need more rope, so we can automate the zinc and silver mine. 40 in total.
I'm making some right now. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)
