| I cannot find the Dragon Breastplate, please help |

Ok, somehow, I am not getting the quest from sir patrick, I just got the quest from the dwarf king, but sir patrick says nothing new, and lucius says nothing regarding it either. I even went to see if maybe I accidentally sold it to the dwarven smith already, but nope. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wierd. You're just supposed to talk to the King to get the quest, offer to buy it off Sir Patrick, then go handle Lucius' debt. 
You might just want to reload a previous save and try it again. Or try installing the patch.

Did you return the letter you got in the mine to the dwarven city council, or directly to the king?
You have to throw the teleporter beyond his guards or use the mages ability switch places and get the letter you got in the mine to the king and not the council or you dont get this quest.
Ok you said you already have this quest so you must have... it entails asking sir patrick and then talking to someone then agreeing to pay off their debt. |

is it possible that I completed that quest, and got the Breastplate before I knew what it was (much earlier in the game) and sold it, or can it only be gotten after the king starts the quest, I think I remember settling lucius's debt, a while back, but never saw any dragon Breastplate, might it have been called something else, since it did not have the heart of the dragon in it yet?

Nope, it's identified as a part of the dragon armor. And as far as I know, you can only get the quest from the dwarven king. So, you basically can't get it any earlier.

Hmmm, I wonder if I wrecked the quest if I already paid off the debt? Kinda doubt that, I must be missing something else. Well, thanks for your help
