Help - my teleporter pyramid is stuck

I dropped one of the tele-porter pyramids on top of the trapdoor in Joram's house in Aleroth and then went off and did a bunch of adventuring. I find I can teleport back to it OK (but oddly I end up outside the house rather than in it). However I cannot pick up or use the pyramid - The name pops up when I mouse over it but when I try to click it either nothing happens or I end up going through the trapdoor. I've tried every position inside and outside the house with the same result.

It looks like I'l have to load a previous save game (several hours ago) but does anyone know is there a way out of a fix like this. The only way I know to pick up the pyramid is to click and hold on it and drag to the inventory. Is there another way of forcing a pick up?

I am patched to 1.34 (the latest version as far as I can tell).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Drop your other pyramid in a barrel somewhere. Use the guide to getting lost inventory items and download another set.

Your advice came just that bit too late. I spent four hours fighting my way back from an older save game.

Anyway thanks for the pointer, its good to know that there are ways to retrieve a game is something gets really stuck.

Ah, well, at least now you'll have a fix if it happens again.
