I upgraded to 3 and I don't like it one bit.
I upgraded to Win XP too, and it ****s me off on a near daily basis. Right now I can even figure out how to back up my Docs. Before all I had to do was open a window then highlight and drag them into the window, it only took a couple seconds. The burning software that came on my computer when I got it don't work with XP, it just keeps telling me I need to get an official patch for Microsoft, but the patch doesn't seem to exist yet! Grr, I can't even back up the new chapters of my book! And if something ever happened to make me loose those I'd go postal! |

You can't figure out how to backup up documents in XP????? I think perhaps you have destroyed too many brain cells playing games . _________________ When everything else in life seems to fail you - buy a vowel. |

Personally I'm a little disappointed with WA3. why:
- playlist management is practically not touched at all
- ability to physically remove mp3s is removed
- a LOT of keyboard shortcuts are removed
- winamp is ca. twice as much resource hungry
- why the heck did they add movie player ? come on, this primarily mp3 player. I don't want another "do-everything" piece of software.
But future looks not so bad. With proper plugins (explorer playlist, additional settings and some sort of keyboard shortcut manager) it could be nice.
So for the time being I'll stick to 2.81. But I'll check WA3 next releases ocasionally. _________________ --=Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=--

Strange, since i have tried CloneCD, Nero and EasyCd, and no problemos with them at all, i do have Winxp pro and i've done all updates.
Other thing, i have Winamp 3 and i do like it, even without plugins _________________ I'll be back... |
