I played the main campaign, Hordes of the Underdark and now I'm playing Shadows of Undrentide and encountered following problem.
Just when I appear in the temple after turning from stone statue back to living creature, everything is slowly getting slower and slower.
You can notice this everywhere - flames, text highlighting in text boxes, creatures animations, everything is slower and slower and in 1 minute or so, it seems the game freezed (actually it only seems as the time between each "frame" is so long...).
I tried to load and start again from save that I made 10 minutes back in the game. And I ran into same problem in the exactly same place.
Prior to this place, everything runs fine and even when I load some old save games, I dont' have any problems. All other games run fine.
Have you ever heard about this problem?
I have 1.65 version and I guess drivers shouldn't be a problem as the game is old enough (the usual "upgrade" advice should be "downgrade" probably). |

have you tried re installing the game or osmething cuz it worked fine for me but i dunno wich vs i have

The only time this happened to me a reboot of the computer cleared it up.

Hm, yes, I tried reboot without luck.
It seems that I have only one more chance, I'll try to upgrade from 1.65 to 1.66.
This one from list of issues fixed by this patch might be the right one for me:
Fixed an issue that was causing the game to slow down and become unplayable at the start of SoU Chapter 2. |

Sounds exactly like the solution. Cross your fingers and have fun in the hackfest that SoU devolves to in its second part (sigh).
