Looks like a goblin to me too. Can't tell if it's the normal or black one though.

as long as we're asking; who's the second necromancer on the first page of the manual? the one with his hood up is Xardas, but the other guy is more aged, more bearded, and...eviler. and how bout the freak next to the undead orc shaman???

This should really be in Photoshop Phridays, but this should finalize all those characters seen in the Gothic 1 manual NOT seen in the game...
