I'm right in front of the big gate. I have just killed the black magician and I found the eye of Power. But how do open the big gate? |

It is amazing how quick one forgets the things. Just finished G2 two weeks ago and already im not sure.
I thougt you should just 'use' the door. (Ctrl when in front of it). Try using al the stuf the black magician had on him, just to be sure.

Did you read the note that was on the black mage body?
if not, that must be the reson you cant use the pearl...
read the not and than just prss the door... |

Yes I did, but I can't use the pearl, and I don't think I am able to open the gate with ctrl/left mouse. |

The Gate is a bit odd, you have to stand in the exact right position to activate it, try to stand where the Black Mage did. |
