HELP!!! could not execute c:/program.
   

could not execute c:/program. WinExec() error code is 0x2 i installed the game and played and then unistaled to play a differ game .. now when i tr to install it i put in the play disc and the it says play gothic2...it isnt even installed.....i click it and that message pops up..can some 1 plzz help me ty

@duffman92654,

If i went to my G2 folder and manually deleted the folder/files, it would appear as though it was deleted, but for some reason, (maybe i didn't use the windows uninstall program or there was interference from another application etc') it's possible to have references still residing in the system registry, these would then infer that the game was still installed.
So as long as these references remain, the game will not install, that means you must manually use the regedit program and find all instances to the game and carefully remove them.
