help finding the last focus stone

I could use some help. Im in the castle and have gotten all the focus stones except this last one. I've found a key and given it to lester who has just given me a spell to as he says "help me get the focus stone." Im all the way up on the top tower and there's a chest thats locked. Can I use the telekenesis spell that lester gave me to open it? If so how? I'm really having trouble here

In regards to chest, there is a lever somewhere on the first floor that opens a room with chests in it. The key to the other chest is in there. As for stone go all the way up, and then outside and look down onto the landing, there is an alter, and the stone is on it. Use the spell to get the stone.
