| error message & freeze on bridge |

I'm sure this has been a common problem, but I haven't specifically found this one on the forum. I'm in the Sleeper Temple on the bridge to the fifth shaman. When I near the end of the bridge I get a freeze and kicked to desktop with the error message "B: vfile: Err.: -2: Can't find file: _Work\DATA\Sound\ITRW_2H_ORCSTAFF_01.MRM Code:255".
I have the patch on, have turned sound to 2 speaker and Miles, turned off all enhancements (reverb etc), resolution is 640 at 16, I truned off sound acceleration in DXDIAG. I went out of the temple and reentered with these settings. It still freezes at this exact spot. Suggestions? |

Hey there cordas,
Welcome to the forums,
Do a re-install over the existing game and select "repair" in the menu, your saved games will still be there.
This MRM file is the animation file of the orc staff. the plain wood pole that looks like a quarter-staff, looks like it's corrupted.
